News // November 09, 2016

We are happy to announce the winning submissions for the 2016 Biennial Wissahickon Photo Contest presented in partnership with the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. This was our most successful contest, with over 110 photographers submitting over 300 photographs. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos, for participating and supporting the Wissahickon watershed! Please keep an eye out for these and other submissions to be featured in our future print publications as well as online.

Special thanks to our judge Jamie Stewart. A former member of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s board of directors, many of Jamie’s photos were featured in the 2007 book, Wissahickon: Worth Preserving, a photographic tour of the Watershed. Jamie has dedicated his time and talents to support local non-profit organizations that help to protect the environment. Click here to visit his website & see his photography.
