Trick-or-Trash Clean-Up

This Halloween, all of the witches, ghosts and goblins are coming together to take care of Wissahickon Valley Park! This self-guided clean-up is a fun and easy way to get out in the park, socially distance, and make a positive impact in the Wissahickon!

In order to keep everyone safely spread out through the park, cleanup locations will be limited to 20 volunteers per site. You must pre-register for a site (see below) and sign the volunteer agreement & release before you are allowed to join the clean-up. All volunteers are required to wear masks and keep at least the recommended 6-foot distance from anyone not in your household group. We will have trash bags available for you at each site’s meeting location, but you will need to supply your own gloves. After the clean-up, someone in your clean-up group will need to complete this short field report so that we can properly log volunteer hours and trash totals.

In order to make the event even more fun, we are encouraging everyone to wear a costume! We’ll be awarding prizes for the best child’s costume and best adult’s costume later in the day. Submit your field report by 2:00 pm with costume photos to be entered in the costume contest.
