Park News Alert
This morning, two bike riders were attacked while riding along the paved bike path between Historic Rittenhouse Town and the parking lot at Forbidden Drive and Lincoln Drive (Ten Box). A man carrying bags jumped down from the rocks above the path and assaulted one of the bikers with a bat. The police and park rangers have been notified and are investigating. The suspect has not been apprehended at this time and no further description is available. If more information becomes available we will share it.
