Expanded Curfew Hours for Fairmount Park Areas

Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Commissioner Kathryn Ott Lovell has announced that effective December 1st, and continuing through March 31, 2017, the Wissahickon Valley, West Fairmount Park, Cobbs Creek Park, Tacony Creek Park, and Pennypack Park areas of the Fairmount Park system will be closed daily from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. All trails, parking lots, and other areas in these parks will be closed to all pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian, and vehicular traffic.

The expanded closing hours are being implemented to ensure public safety as deer control activities are being conducted in these parks.
