2022 was a year of building back to pre-pandemic levels of stewardship and engagement, as well as investing in the beauty and resilience of our beloved urban forest.
Last year we facilitated:
1,367 individual volunteers
176 service days (the most ever in one year!)
11,827 volunteer hours (nearly 26% more than in 2021!)
87 Wissahero shifts (our solo steward collected 2,160 pounds of litter in over 200 hours!)
We have plenty of more numbers to show for our commitment to the stewardship of the Wissahickon that we’re very proud of! Thank you for your help; we couldn’t have done it without you!
