The Scoop: FOW’s 15th Annual Ice Cream Social!
Do you want to make your summer extra sweet?
Then come join us for our annual Ice Cream Social! FOW’s FREE Ice Cream Social will be held on Wednesday, August 10th from 3pm-5pm in partnership with our friends at the Woodmere Art Museum. Bredenbeck’s Bakery will once again provide the ice cream and non-dairy sorbet for all to enjoy! 
Spend a summer afternoon with the staff and volunteers from both FOW and the Woodmere Art Museum, while exploring Woodmere’s permanent collection and current work, including its 80th Annual Juried Exhibition (on view through Aug. 28). Explore the sculpture collection on the museum’s six acres, including the current La Cresta land-sculpting installation, inspired by the ancient European horticultural practice of hügelkulture. Then visit the extensive art collection in the indoor galleries housed in Woodmere’s 19th-century stone mansion.
FOW partners from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and our friends from the Wissahickon Environmental Center will offer hands-on kid-friendly nature activities.
