Spring Break Trail Building Experience

School District of Philadelphia high school students, we need your help to build a trail this Spring Break!

Learn to build a trail with us!

Tuesday, March 26 – Thursday, March 28, 9am-3pm

Five School District of Philadelphia students are invited to join us this spring break to plan and build a trail within Wissahickon Valley Park!

This opportunity is perfect for a students interested in pursuing a degree or career related to environmental science, ecology, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), or sustainability. This opportunity will teach students what it take to build a sustainable trail that will last a lifetime! No experience or equipment needed. Everything from tools to instruction will be provided by FOW Staff.

Upon completion, students will receive 16.5 hours of volunteer service.
