Expanded curfew hours for park areas
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation will close certain parks from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023. The expanded curfew hours will take place at these parks:
- Bartram’s Garden
- Cobbs Creek Park
- East Fairmount Park
- FDR Park
- Pennypack Park
- Tacony Creek Park
- West Fairmount Park
- Wissahickon Valley Park
All trails, parking lots, and other areas in these parks will be closed to all pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian, and vehicular traffic. The expanded closing hours are being implemented to ensure public safety as deer control activities are being conducted in these parks.
