Request for Proposals: Valley Green Run Restoration and Pedestrian Bridge Project
The Friends of the Wissahickon (“the Friends” or “FOW”) is accepting proposals to enter into a Master Services Agreement to provide Design, Permitting and Construction services for the Friends within the boundaries of the Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia, PA. The project involves stream channel stabilization, removal of collapsed masonry walls and other in-channel debris, stabilization and re-vegetation of the road embankment slope, construction of a raised pedestrian/mountain bike bridge or boardwalk path, as well as design and integration of a donor recognition system in the boardwalk pathway.
