Member Hub

Thank you for being a friend

You are a member of a community of over 3,000 like-minded individuals who care for and support Wissahickon Valley Park, a community treasure of over 1,800-acres of forested parkland. Thank you for investing in one of Philadelphia’s most precious natural resources.

Please join our Annual Members Meeting
Tuesday, June 7 at 6 pm

Members are invited to gather with us virtually or in-person at Valley Green Inn on June 7 at 6:00 PM to review the past year, elect members to the Board of Directors, and learn about upcoming projects and Friends of the Wissahickon’s plans for stewardship in 2022. We will also be joined by Maurice Sampson II, who serves as the Eastern Pennsylvania Director for Clean Water Action. In that role he drafted the bill and facilitated political support leading to the passage of the City of Philadelphia’s plastic shopping bag ban, He also offered critical testimony minutes before the West Chester Borough Council voted to ban single-use plastics in July 2019.

Registration is required for this hybrid event.  Limited seats will be available at the Valley Green Inn and this event will also be livestreamed via Zoom. All FOW members will also receive a digital copy of the Annual Report for 2021.
