What would the Wissahickon in April be without a search for spring ephemerals? And what flora and fauna would the miners of the Roxborough Mining Company in 1763 and the actors in a popular TV miniseries in 2020 have seen? (The actors at least were not here at the end of April.) Join Andi, Debbie, and Jim on a 3.5 mile hike to experience the Wissahickon in April. Expect some rocky ascents and descents.

Children 12 years and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult, but please, no dogs other than service animals.

Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. We ask all event attendees to bring a mask and mask up if a distance of six feet cannot be maintained during the activity.
