Martin Luther King Jr. Volunteer Day of Service
January 18 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Dr. King once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?” By volunteering on this day, we will be giving back to our park, it’s users, and the plants and animals that rely on it to live. Join us for a morning a stewardship – we’ll be cutting back invasive vegetation for a future planting.
Registration is required for this event, and the capacity is limited. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all volunteers are required to wear a face covering and maintain a safe 6-foot distance from other people not in their household. If you are feeling ill, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, please stay home. Bringing your own gloves is highly recommended.
Detailed information and the specific meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event. For more information contact Shawn Green at email@example.com
