Trail Work at Harvey Street (Part 2)

July 29 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Meeting at the Harvey Street Trailhead (Click here to see the location)
Street parking is available.

Nestled between Lincoln Drive, Walnut Lane, and Septa railroad tracks is a historic and gorgeous tract of land sporting trails, a pond, and access to the statue of Henry Houston. This service day is a continuation of FOW’s larger plans to improve the park and create better access for area neighbors. Work on this Saturday will consist improving the trail system at this location.

No experience is needed. We provide gloves, tools and instruction – you just need to show up! Volunteer service Days are excellent, easy ways to help us take care of Wissahickon Valley Park. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and bring a water bottle with you. Detailed information and the specific meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event.
