Forbidden Drive Service Day
October 10 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us as we spruce up the 2018 PA Trail of the Year: Forbidden Drive! Designated a National Recreation Trail in 1975, Forbidden Trail connects users with many historic landmarks, 50 miles of natural surface trails, and a regional trail network that takes them into Pennsylvania’s countryside on the Schuylkill River Trail and The Circuit. We will be working along the Drive removing invasive plant species, improving drainage, cleaning trash, and helping to slow the erosion uphill. Tools & instruction will be provided.
Registration is required for this event, and the capacity is limited. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all volunteers are required to wear a face covering and maintain a safe 6-foot distance from other people not in their household. If you are feeling ill, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for for Covid-19, please stay home. Bringing your own gloves is highly recommended.
Detailed information and the specific meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event. For more information contact Shawn Green at firstname.lastname@example.org
