Invasive Removal Service Day

September 14, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Meet at Thomas Mansion (6245 Wissahickon Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19144)

Thomas Mansion in Germantown is a historic property built in 1869 by George Clifford Thomas and his wife Caroline Sheetz. The property, which once boasted beautifully landscaped gardens and a green house, needs lots of regular maintenance to keep from becoming overgrown. On this day, we will continue to remove invasive plant species to prepare the site for a planting.

Workdays will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or snow, thunder and lightning, high winds, etc. Visit FOW’s Facebook page or the Upcoming Work Days page for updates. If the workday is cancelled it will be posted by 8 am.
