Join Trail Ambassador David Bower for a socially distanced hike through the Wissahickon’s history, including Historic Rittenhouse Town, Hermit’s Cave, and the Bluestone Bridge. David’s many years of experience in the Wissahickon mean that you’ll learn a lot about the valley’s hidden secrets and eventful history, as well as getting some fresh air and miles in!
Registration is required for this event, and the capacity is limited. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees are required to wear a face covering and maintain a safe 6-foot distance from other people not in their household. If you are feeling ill, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, please stay home.
This hike will start at House #205 in Historic Rittenhouse Town, at Lincoln Drive and Wissahickon Avenue. The route includes may be on rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
