The Wissahickon Valley Park invokes feelings of wonder in all of us, bringing up memories of exploration and adventure. But the park’s green space provides so much more; the Wissahickon’s 1,800-acres offer countless generations of children critical access to nature, support a healthy habitat for hundreds of wildlife species, and protect the Wissahickon Creek, a source of drinking water for over 300,000 individuals.
This is why Friends of the Wissahickon’s work is so important – and why we need your help.
